FAIRWINDS' Educational Savings Club for Your Child, 12 and under.
Savings As I Learn (SAIL) Club
The Kids' SAIL Club helps parents teach their children about the importance of saving money. Although the lesson is a serious, we teach it in a way that is fun. Your child will learn HOW and WHY to save money!
How does the Kids' SAIL Club Work?
Your child's account is set-up just like a savings account. It earns interest and there is no monthly service charge. But as a special bonus to kids, they don't pay a membership fee and only need $5.00 to open an account. Parents need only fill out a membership application, listing the parent(s) as the joint owner(s.) Kids can deposit money in $10 increments by using their SAIL Coin Books.
Saving Money is FUN!
When your child brings $10 or more into FAIRWINDS Credit Union to open an account, your child becomes a member of the Kids' SAIL Club and a member of FAIRWINDS Credit Union.
Your child will receive a SAIL Record Keeper. Each time your child comes to any service center, he/she will receive a special sticker. The stickers may be used to help your child track his/her savings in the SAIL Record Keeper.
