Opening a Business Account

Documents Required to Open an Account for a Limited Liability Company:

A Limited Liability Company (LLC) is recognized as a legal form of business combining features of a corporation and a partnership.

To have an LLC account at least one official of the LLC and the business itself must be eligible for membership.

Applicants need to provide the following "originals". Copies will be created and originals will be returned.

  • Members (owners) of the LLC need to provide a valid photo identification and social security number.
  • Tax Identification Certificate (TIN) (For single member LLC entities, a TIN will not be required. The SSN will be sufficient. Please note that married couples are considered a single entity for legal purposes. You could use the SSN of either spouse in this case.)
  • Registered Articles of Organization
