Membership Eligibility

Who can belong to FAIRWINDS?
The credit union is made up of members who share a common bond of employment, association or community joining together as owners of their not-for-profit financial cooperative. FAIRWINDS' field of membership includes:

Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Polk, Seminole, and Volusia Counties.
Persons living or working in Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Polk, Seminole, or Volusia Counties are now eligible to belong to FAIRWINDS.

Preferred Business Partners
Employees of over 500 Preferred Business Partners.

Military Personnel
Active or retired military personnel or dependents receiving military benefits.

Family Members
Immediate family of FAIRWINDS' members by blood or marriage. Immediate family members include father, mother, sister, brother, son and daughter.

Individuals Over the Age of 50
Individuals over the age of 50, living within a 50 mile radius of a service center and not eligible for membership at another local area credit union.

UCF Alumni
Anyone who has graduated from UCF.

There are many ways to belong to FAIRWINDS Credit Union. If you have any questions about membership, please visit any one of our service center locations or contact us by phone or e-mail.

If your employer is not listed in our Preferred Business Partner listing, your employer may apply for inclusion.

Once you determine you are qualified to join FAIRWINDS, becoming a member is easy.
