How Payments Are Made

Your FAIRWINDS Bill Payer payments are made in two ways:

1. The first is through electronic funds transfer. Your creditors who are paid in this way receive your payment and payment information (including your member number) through a direct computer link. This payment process takes approximately two (2) business days for a payment to reach its destination.
2. The second method of processing payments is through a check, issued by Online Resources Corporation in your name, to the payee you have designated. These checks include your name, address, and member number. These checks are sent through the mail, to the vendor address you have designated through Bill Payer. Because this method involves the U.S. mail system, your payment may take up to ten days to reach its destination. (In most instances, however, the majority of payments are delivered in less than 10 days.)

Whichever way the payment is to be made, your scheduled Bill Payer payment is processed on Monday - Friday (excluding holidays). If your scheduled payment is on a Saturday, Sunday or Federal Holiday, your payment will be processed the following business day. The money is taken from your account on the date the payment is processed.
