When using your Cash Direct™ Check Card with your PIN Code:

• You may use your Cash Direct™ Check Card with a PIN number at retail locations and at ATM machines. There is no charge for using your Cash Direct™ Check Card for purchases at retail locations.


• When using your card at an ATM machine not owned by FAIRWINDS, you may be charged by both the owner of the machine and by FAIRWINDS. You will be notified by a message on the screen of the ATM if you will be charged before processing your transaction. You have the option to cancel your transaction at that time.

Your rights and responsibilities with a Cash Direct™ Check Card:

• Never give your PIN to anyone


• Never write your PIN in a conspicuous place, where someone could see it.


• Report the loss or theft of your Cash Direct™ Check Card right away. If you report your card as lost or stolen within 48 hours, you will not be liable for fraudulent activity.


• Sign the back of your card as soon as you receive it. If you do not receive your card within 2 weeks of ordering it, call to report it lost or stolen right away.
