Wi-Fi Protect Access (WPA) If your laptop has a wireless router, turn on WPA to only allow the the computers with the right password or key to access your laptop. Media Access Control (MAC) If your laptop has a wireless router, set it to only accept connections from your own MAC address. This will block your network and internet connection from other computers. Firewall Use Firewall software to detect suspicous activity.
