Auto Loan Rates

APR = Annual Percentage Rate

Your actual rate is based on your credit quality, down payment, loan term, and amount financed.

Discounted Rate: Rate discounts for automatic payment from a FAIRWINDS checking account will increase by .25% in the event payment is discontinued from a FAIRWINDS checking account. Any increase in the rate will result in more payments of the same amount until what you owe has been repaid.

A loan processing fee will be charged on all loans except real estate and credit builder loans. The fee is 2% of the loan amount issued with a minimum fee of $10 and a maximum fee of $45. This loan processing fee will affect the APR shown.

Mechanical Repair Coverage

Avoid expensive repairs with Mechanical Repair Coverage (MRC).

If you have recently purchased or are thinking about a new vehicle, make sure you consider MRC. Most repairs occur after your manufacturer’s warranty has expired, leaving you with expensive repair bills. MRC picks up where that coverage ends and pays for the cost of parts and labor for any covered vehicle mechanical repair.

Guaranteed Asset Protection

Protect yourself from unexpected costs with GAP insurance.

With Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP), you are covered if your vehicle is damaged beyond repair (totaled) or stolen and never recovered. Most insurance policies cover what your vehicle is worth (market value), not what you owe on the vehicle. If your loan balance is higher than the value of your vehicle, you could have significant out-of pocket expenses.

GAP covers the loan balance that your primary insurance carrier did not cover and will even pay up to $1,000 of your insurance deductible. Eligible vehicles include motor vehicles, power sports, RVs and personal watercrafts.

GAP insurance costs only $495 for a refundable policy* and $395 for a non-refundable policy. All policies are eligible for a full refund within the first 90 days. Your loan officer can add GAP into your loan amount at closing and coverage begins right away.
