VII. Electronic Disclosure Notice
You have the right to receive a disclosure or record in paper or electronic form. You also have the right to withdraw the consent to have records or disclosures delivered electronically, including any conditions, consequences, or fees associated with doing so. If you consent to a particular transaction that requires the obligation to provide a record, that record may be provided to you during the course of your relationship with FAIRWINDS Credit Union.
Members may choose to receive statements electronically (also called "opt in") via one of the two following methods:
- By logging into their account via FAIRWINDS Online and selecting the e-statement link from the Accounts Summary page. Instructions for changing the e-statement preference are provided online.
- By contacting (in person, via phone or in writing) any FAIRWINDS office or employee and expressing the desire to receive electronic statements.
Members may withdraw consent at any time from receiving electronic statements (also called "opt out")via one of the two following methods:
- By logging into their account via FAIRWINDS Online and selecting the e-statement link from the Accounts Summary page. Instructions for changing the e-statement preference are provided online.
- By contacting (in person, via phone or in writing) any FAIRWINDS office or employee and expressing the desire to stop receiving electronic statements.
You may obtain a paper copy of an electronic record upon request. Applicable fees may apply to this request and are detailed on the Service Charge Schedule.

You have the right to switch to electronic statements as well as switch back to paper statements anytime. Should you choose to exercise your opt-in or opt-out options with regard to e-statements, your consent becomes effective within a reasonable period of time after the credit union receives your notification. Any records or contracts provided and/or executed electronically prior to your notice to withdraw consent remain legally valid and enforceable.
