ORLANDO, FL - (May 31, 2012) Melvin Ramen has been named as FAIRWINDS Credit Union's newest Regional Vice President of Branch Services. Ramen has been in the financial services industry for almost ten years joining the credit union team in 2005. He quickly moved his way up within the organization after successfully managing branches located in Orange City and Deltona.
After an opportunity in the financial industry took him abroad to England in 2010, Ramen returned to Orlando in May 2011 and resumed his position as the Vice President, Branch Manager of the Winter Garden location. In his new role, he will now oversee the management, sales, and operations of eight FAIRWINDS branches located in Orange and Seminole counties.
Originally from the island of Mauritius, Ramen earned his BA in Management Studies from the University of Mauritius in 1996. In addition to his work with the credit union, he is actively involved with the Rotary Club.
