FAIRWINDS Donating $1 for Every Holiday Gift Card Sold to Baby DJ Program.

Orlando, Fla. (November 30, 2009) FAIRWINDS Credit Union is donating $1 for every gift card sold this holiday season to the XL 106.7 Baby DJ program. Local radio station XL 106.7 organizes the Baby DJ program each year which provides much needed supplies, including toys, Christmas trees and food, to families who would not otherwise be able to celebrate the holidays. The gift cards are available at each of FAIRWINDS' 37 Central Florida branch locations and can be purchased in any denomination between $10 and $1,000.

"Now more than ever families are in need this holiday season and we want to give back to our community and provide an outlet for local residents to give back as well," says Dianne Owen, Executive Vice President of Marketing for FAIRWINDS. "We are excited to participate in the Baby DJ program because it is locally-based, like FAIRWINDS, and gives us the opportunity to provide for families right here in Central Florida."

In addition to donating $1 for each gift card sold, FAIRWINDS employees will be volunteering in the toy warehouse to help sort and distribute supplies. "Our employees volunteer in the community throughout the year and are looking forward to the opportunity to be hands-on with the Baby DJ program" states Owen.
