Orlando, Fla. (December 8, 2009) - FAIRWINDS will host two Shred Fest events in December at the FAIRWINDS Alumni Center on the University of Central Florida campus and at the Metro West branch. Shred Fest is a free event for members of the community to bring their personal and financial documents and papers to safely shred and destroy. The UCF Shred Fest (North Gemini Blvd, Bldg. 126, Orlando, FL 32816) will be held Thursday, December 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and the Metro West event (5875 Arnold Palmer Dr, Orlando, FL 32835) will be held Saturday, December 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Shred Fest is held monthly at one of FAIRWINDS' 37 Central Florida branch locations. Crown Shredding will be on hand with shred trucks equipped with cameras allowing members of the community to watch their documents shred safely. Stapled and paper-clipped documents are accepted. Crown Shredding recycles 100% of the shredded material at a local recycling plant.
