New $5k Savings Account
There are a lot of great features to the $5k account that will help you to reach your savings goals faster including a special bonus interest rate over the traditional FAIRWINDS savings account. Monthly automatic deposits will help your account grow at a steady pace. With at least one automatic deposit a month from your FAIRWINDS checking account, you’ll save money by avoiding the monthly $10 maintenance expense. To learn more or to sign up for your $5k Savings account today, stop by any branch or call Member Services at 407.277.5045. A $10 fee will be assessed each time you withdraw from the $5k Account. Monthly $10 maintenance fee will be waived with at least one automatic deposit from a FAIRWINDS checking account. Interest rates and terms subject to change.
FAIRWINDS College Scholarship 
There is still time to submit your application for a FAIRWINDS College Scholarship. This opportunity applies to students attending a four-year college or an accredited community college. Each applicant must be a graduating high school senior and a member in good standing of FAIRWINDS Credit Union. Five candidates will be selected this year to each receive a $1,000 scholarship. Recipients will be selected based on grade point average, SAT and/or ACT score, extracurricular and community activities, and a written essay. Click here to download an application. All applications must be received by March 26, 2010. Winners will be announced the week of April 19.
