Tell us about your business.
Happy Paws Pet Resort is a state-of-the-art facility that offers daycare, boarding, grooming, and training for your four-legged children. When my wife and I were researching the business, we visited a lot of different facilities across the country and implemented the best ideas in our facility.

Why did you choose
FAIRWINDS?
They care about the community. The branch managers near me have taken the time to come tour my facility and have invited me to business networking events. FAIRWINDS actually cares about helping me grow my business. That means a lot to me.

What is one piece of advice you have for other business owners?
Make sure to do proper strategic planning and get a good team to accomplish your plan. Part of your team is your financial institution, therefore if you live in Central Florida I’ll encourage you to stop by a FAIRWINDS branch and educate yourself about all of their business programs.

Knights Don’t Let Knights Go Hungry

Thanks to all of our members for your generous support of the UCF “Knights Helping Knights Pantry” Food Drive. The Pantry provides food and other items, such as toiletries, to UCF students in need. On average, the Pantry distributes between 1,000 and 3,500 pounds of food for students each month.

As part of our summer food drive, when the Pantry needs the most community support, FAIRWINDS branches served as collection points. For every box filled, the credit union is donating $50 to the Pantry. More than ten boxes have been filled and we’re still counting!

Shred Fest may be cancelled or end early due to equipment failure, truck capacity reached, bad weather, or any other unforeseen event.
