Electronic Statement Disclosure Agreement

Selection of the electronic delivery method in the e-Statements section of FAIRWINDS Online confirms your acceptance of all disclosures and agreements included herein and within the FAIRWINDS Online: Terms and Conditions. It also acknowledges your receipt and understanding of this agreement. By entering this agreement, you understand that FAIRWINDS Credit Union will no longer be providing you with a monthly paper statement. Your statements will be available online, generally on or around the 2nd business day of each month for those receiving monthly statements. If you normally receive a quarterly statement, your statement will be available around the 2nd business day in Jan, April, July, and Oct. You will be notified through email that your eStatement is available, with a link to the FAIRWINDS Online login page.

In order to access your eStatements online, you must have access to FAIRWINDS Online banking. An Internet connection that supports 128-bit encryption is recommended.

The service providing eStatements, FAIRWINDS Online, is generally available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; however, this service may be unavailable from time to time for routine software and hardware maintenance or due to unscheduled down time.

You understand the importance of your role in preventing misuse of your account. You agree to promptly examine your statement and notify us immediately of any errors on your account. We must hear from you no later than sixty (60) days after we sent the first statement on which the problem appears. It may be necessary from time to time, to change the terms or conditions regarding your statement access. In the event such a change is necessary, we will display a message via e-mail notification.

With your statement we have periodically included notices that relate to your account or regulatory information. By agreeing to accept electronic statements, you also agree to receive other notices by electronic delivery.

You have the right to terminate your eStatements service and receive paper statements at any time by simply logging in to your FAIRWINDS Online account, clicking on the “e-Statement” link in the left-hand menu. On the next page, click on the “Statement Preferences” button and choose “US Mail” from the drop down list. Your statements will be mailed to you in the future. If you cancel eStatements service and wish to resume the service in the future, simply change you the statement preferences back to electronic. FAIRWINDS Credit Union has the right to terminate its obligation to provide eStatements service to you upon ten days of prior written notice by email or US Mail.

You agree to waive and release any claims against FAIRWINDS Credit Union arising out of or in anyway related to the eStatements service, except for those claims resulting solely from the negligent acts or omissions of the Credit Union.
