First Time Borrower Program

For first-time borrowers to establish credit or for those that need to improve their credit rating, we offer a variety of secured loan programs that can help you establish your credit, without paying a sky-high interest rate.

With a secured loan, we use the funds in your savings or certificate of deposit accounts here at FAIRWINDS as collateral for a variety of loans or credit cards. Although these funds are not available to withdraw while securing the loan, as you pay off the principle balance of your loan we release the funds that were held.

The very best feature is that the funds in your savings continue to earn interest at the current saving rate while you pay a very reasonable loan rate.

These current loan rates, effective 11/01/2008 are an addendum to your Loan liner agreement. The payment amount and due date of payments will be determined at the time of each advance and disclosed in the funds advance voucher.
