Elisha González Bonnewitz Joins FAIRWINDS Credit Union as Vice President of Community Relations and Government Affairs
FAIRWINDS Credit Union has added Elisha González Bonnewitz as a new vice president of community relations and government affairs to oversee activities in Brevard, Volusia and Tampa-area markets.
González Bonnewitz has an extensive background spanning more than two decades working with Orange County Public Schools, the U.S. Senate, Valencia College and Duke Energy. Her responsibilities have ranged from educational management and philanthropy to constituent outreach and issues management.
Aligned with FAIRWINDS’ commitment to its members and their communities, González Bonnewitz is active in the Central Florida community, serving on the boards of Heart of Florida United Way, CareerSource Florida and the Holocaust Memorial Resource and Education Center of Florida.
She is a proud graduate of the University of Central Florida, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Education K-12, and she holds a Master of Science in Educational Business Administration/Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
