FAIRWINDS Credit Union Pledges More than $26,000 to the United Way
ORLANDO, FL – Keeping with the spirit of the Heart of Florida United Way’s initiative of “investing in results,” employees of FAIRWINDS Credit Union invested their time, commitment, and monetary resources to pledge $26,810 during a two-week fundraising campaign held in April. Led by members of FAIRWINDS’ Management Team, including President/CEO Larry Tobin, the credit union’s 500+ employees worked together to pledge money to directly support Heart of Florida United Way. One hundred percent of the pledges were made through employee contributions.“FAIRWINDS Crewmembers are not only advocates for our members, but also for our community,” said Tobin. “It’s an honor knowing that our pledge will help to make a difference in the lives of those in our Central Florida community.” FAIRWINDS has been a long-time supporter of Heart of Florida United Way, who has served the community for 75 years.
