FAIRWINDS Oviedo Branch Locations to Consolidate

Orlando, FL – FAIRWINDS Credit Union will be closing their Oviedo branch location on Geneva Dr. in order to consolidate with their East Oviedo branch location on Mitchell Hammock Dr. The consolidation is part of the credit union’s strategy to realign service and delivery channels over the next few years.

“We are always reviewing and updating our service and delivery channels to ensure that they are efficient and in line with the needs of our members and the marketplace,” said Phil Tischer, COO for FAIRWINDS. “Our East Oviedo branch is less than five minutes away from the Oviedo location, and is a newer and more accommodating location. It simply is the right time to make the move.”

Tischer also confirmed that no employee will lose their job and will move to other branches or support departments throughout the organization.

The Oviedo (Geneva Dr.) branch and ATM will be permanently closed at the end of the business day on Friday, August 19.
