  • Easy access online and through any ATM - Check your balances, transfer funds, and make withdrawals at any ATM or online, up to Reg D limits.
  • Relationship Rewards Points - Earn one point for each dollar you earn in interest on your deposits or pay in interest on your loans. Redeem these points for higher rates on deposits, lower rates on loans, and reduced fees.

Current Rate — 0.10% APY

Minimum to Open — $10

Monthly Service Fee — $5, waived with any one of the following:

  • Maintain an average monthly account balance of at least $300
  • Deposit or transfer a total of at least $25 per month
  • Maintain an average monthly combined savings balances of at least $10,000 (excluding checking balances)
  • Members under the age of 18

Minimum to Earn Interest — $0.01

Withdrawal Fee — $0

Cost me hundreds of dollars in overdraft charges on another account. No one at Fairwinds was willing to step up an help; although they did st mo other bank, It also wasn’t clear I had to order my own checks right away.

Signed up for the preferred checking account having a $25.00 per month fee. Literature stated this account included 50 checks. Sent an E-mail asking how to request the checks. Receive an E-mail back after 3 days telling me to, "come into the branch, go online or call customer service to order checks". After talking to Edward in customer service. I was told I could not order the checks offered with the preferred checking account on line. Confirming my assessment, the information given to me via E-mail was bogus. Edward did however, gave me the impression he was ordering the checks offered with the preferred checking account. Not happy with the information I received and feel the knowledge of the person who replied to my inquiry is very limited. Will see if I make it to month 3?
