Unable to make a reservation? You're welcome to shred your documents during our standby hour from noon-1 p.m., based on availability on a first come, first serve basis.
Reservation Priority for Members
Members enjoy access to book Shred Fest reservations before the general public. Keep an eye on your Member Savings email for a reservation link to save your spot.
Save your confirmation email.
Once your reservation is confirmed, save your confirmation email. Then bring it with you to Shred Fest by either printing it or accessing it on your mobile device. Guests without confirmation emails will be able to shred documents in a reserved lane based on availability.
Check your shred before leaving home.
To expedite the process, please ensure you check the documents you plan to shred prior to bringing them to the event by following these guidelines:
- Up to five boxes.
- Boxes less than the 25-lbs. limit.
- Documents containing personal identifiable information (e.g. social security number, date of birth, account numbers, medical records credit report, driver's license number, credit card pre-approvals).
- Paper clips.
- Spiral Notebooks.
- Credit Cards.
- File folders.
Don't shred this:
- More than five boxes.
- Boxes exceeding the 25-lbs. limit.
- Occupant mail (e.g. direct mail, sales flyers, magazines, phone books, catalogs).
- Plastic bags.
- Three-ring binders.
- Household items.
- Binder clips.
Show up and shred.
Upon arrival at the shredding location, present your reservation confirmation to a FAIRWINDS crewmember at the check-in point.
Shred Fest may be cancelled or end early due to equipment failure, truck capacity reached, bad weather or any other unforeseen event. Due to heavy volume, guests may bring a maximum of five boxes of personal documents per vehicle to shred.
