Everyone’s journey to Financial Freedom is unique. But there is one stage of the journey that we can all share at any time: living generously! Generous living – and giving – can make an extraordinary difference in transforming the lives of others.

FAIRWINDS crewmembers live generously by participating in our annual giving campaign to benefit local nonprofit organizations in the community.

Thanks to the generosity of our crewmembers, this year $150,000 was raised in less than two weeks! The organizations that benefitted from this generosity include:

The FAIRWINDS Foundation’s core purpose is to inspire generosity, match generosity, volunteer everywhere, and work with and support organizations that improve lives through financial well-being. The FAIRWINDS Foundation believes that when families and individuals have the information and tools needed to secure and improve their financial health, we collectively impact and improve our community’s economic well-being.

Heart of Florida United Way fights for the education, health and financial stability of every person in Central Florida. Founded in 1939, Heart of Florida United Way is Central Florida’s largest supporter of local health and human service agencies assisting the most vulnerable in our communities.

Through a dynamic collaboration of individuals, businesses, local governments, foundations, and more than 60 arts and cultural organizations, they work to enhance the quality and variety of cultural experiences throughout Central Florida.

Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando educates, shelters, places, and heals pets and their families with compassionate, responsible care maintained to the highest professional standards. Formerly the SPCA of Central Florida, their goal is to provide knowledgeable services for pets and to be leaders in innovative animal care and sheltering.

Why We Give

When it comes to giving generously, every dollar counts. FAIRWINDS crewmember, Mona San Pedro says, “Contributing, even if it’s the minimum, can make a huge a difference in the lives of others and make a positive impact on society. It’s an opportunity to share with those in need, support organizations that align with my values, and help address issues such as poverty, education, health, and the environment.”

Matt Cannon, Vice President of Information Security for FAIRWINDS looks forward to the Give Generously campaign every year. “Generosity benefits everyone. It helps those you give to and comes back to reward you, too. When you can be generous, go for it. You'll be glad you did.”

FAIRWINDS was founded more than 75 years ago under the philosophy of people-helping-people. By coming together to philanthropically support individuals in our community, we are affording opportunities and changing lives.
