FAIRWINDS Executive Emphasizes the Importance of Employee Financial Wellness Programs

Orlando Sentinel features the benefits of making employees’ financial health a priority

FAIRWINDS Executive Vice President of Human Resources Lindsey LeWinter was featured as a guest columnist in the Orlando Sentinel. June is National Employee Wellness Month and with financial wellness always being a priority for FAIRWINDS crewmembers, she shared practical tips and advice for other businesses to implement financial wellness programs.

According to a 2024 SoFi at Work Survey, 47% of employees say financial stress negatively impacts their mental health, an increase of 11% from the previous year’s study; 36% say it impacts their physical health.

Says Lindsey, “Offering a financial wellness program could better position your business to recruit top talent.”
