On Tuesday, November 14, dozens of FAIRWINDS crewmembers gathered at Dezerland Park Orlando to pack holiday meals during the Heart of Florida United Way’s fifth annual Thanksgiving Project.

The annual community-wide initiative aims to provide 4,000 holiday meal kits to ALICE (asset limited, income constrained, employed) families in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties. These kits will ensure that families in need can enjoy a Thanksgiving meal, fostering a sense of togetherness and hope during the holiday season.

"At FAIRWINDS, we advocate for the well-being of our community," said Elisha Gonzalez, vice president, Community Relations and Government Affairs, and executive director of the FAIRWINDS Foundation at FAIRWINDS. "Our commitment to 'Living Generously' extends beyond financial services; it encompasses our dedication to improving the lives of those we serve. Joining forces with Heart of Florida United Way for this Thanksgiving Project is another way we can make a meaningful impact in the lives of our neighbors."

The Thanksgiving Project is a heartwarming initiative that reflects the spirit of gratitude and giving back during the holiday season. FAIRWINDS encourages its employees and the entire Central Florida community to give back and help make a difference.
