Vermont Credit Reporting Notice

If I am a Vermont resident, I understand and agree that: The FAIRWINDS Credit Union may obtain a consumer credit report and other information about me from one or more consumer reporting agencies in connection with this application and any subsequent review, update, renewal, extension, or collection of credit. Upon request, I will be informed whether a consumer report was obtained and, if so, the name and address of the consumer reporting agency that furnished the report. I understand that I may request this information by contacting FAIRWINDS Credit Union.

Vermont Affirmative Consent – Credit Report Authorization

By clicking agree or providing my electronic signature, I affirmatively consent and authorize the FAIRWINDS Credit Union to obtain and use my consumer report, credit report, and related credit information from one or more consumer reporting agencies in connection with my application for credit. I understand this authorization includes obtaining my credit score and other credit-related information for the purpose of evaluating my application, determining eligibility for credit, and, if approved, for servicing, review, modification, renewal, extension, and collection of any resulting account, as permitted by law. I acknowledge that this consent is voluntary but is required in order to process my application for credit.
