FAIRWINDS Credit Union Donates $100,000 to OneOrlando Fund

ORLANDO, FL – FAIRWINDS Credit Union is announcing a $100,000 donation toward the OneOrlando Fund, established by the City of Orlando to assist and support those impacted by last weekend’s mass shooting.

“We stand united with our Orlando community, and our country, to provide comfort and support to the victims and their families impacted by this senseless massacre,” said Larry Tobin, President and CEO of FAIRWINDS Credit Union.

The OneOrlando Fund will offer support and services to individuals affected by the Pulse tragedy. According to the City of Orlando, “The distribution of the funds will be administered by the Central Florida Foundation. The Foundation serves as the region’s community foundation and is home to more than 400 charitable funds.” Donations can be made directly to www.oneorlando.org.

FAIRWINDS has been working in collaboration with Central Florida leaders and agencies to provide ongoing support to those in need.

The credit union has also committed to providing paid time off for employees that wish to donate blood.

“We continue to pray for the victims, family and friends, and our community. We are here to support as our city and country begin the healing process,” said Tobin.
