Minimum to Open — $10
Monthly Service Charge — $5, waived with any one of the following:
- Maintain an average monthly account balance of at least $300
- Deposit or transfer a total of at least $25 per month
- Maintain an average monthly combined savings balances of at least $10,000 (excluding checking balances)
- Signature Checking or Preferred Checking account holders
- Members under the age of 18
- Receive at least one ¢hange it up deposit per month
Minimum to Earn Interest — $0.01
Withdrawal Fee — $0

Love the product
I ave been a member of Fairwinds since 1987 when I moved to Florida; with the exception of 2 years where I used Bank of America I have been happy and well taken care of. Now to top my happiness I can get rewards on my Visa without having to apply to other credit cards

Opening a new acct from my car
I have been a member of Fairwinds for 20+ years. I recently wished to open a savings account. Much to my dismay none of the bank lobbies in my area are open. I wanted to speak to an advisor face to face to learn what type of account might be advantageous for me but that was not available. I was never asked anything about the type of products offered nor my intention for this account. I drove away with a savings account and the “voice” was friendly enough but I was not satisfied.
